Introduction
This site is intended to introduce celebrities and other women from Japan. There are plenty of sites out there which just list pictures, but I figured there might be some interest in some more information (for example names, biographies, links to home pages and blogs).
Since the bulk of the site is mainly pictures of women, if that sort of thing bothers you, please don’t feel obligated to stick around, and definitely don’t feel obligated to let me know about your objections. Thanks.
The site design and layout isn’t completely decided yet, so if there’s some more information you’d be interested in seeing, or if you have any other suggestions comments, requests, suggestions or whatever, feel free to let me know in the comments for the posts.
Site Design, Appearance and Compatibility
Compatibility
This site is designed for, and best viewed in Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or above, Firefox 2.0 or above, and Opera 9.0 and above and is best viewed in those browsers and versions.
The site looks and runs best if both Javascript and Cookies are enabled, but should (theoretically) be usable without either. No personal information is stored in the cookies, just stuff like menu positions/opened and closed status, etc.
Recommended (supported):
- Browsers: FF2+, IE7+, Opera9+
- Javascript and Cookies: Enabled
- Resolution: 1024×768 or higher
- Color: 32bit
Design
The site design was created by my friend Ttancm (who also kindly hosts this site). It uses WordPress with a theme built from the Sandbox theme. Feel free to visit his site (www.ttancm.com) and ask him about the theme.
Appearance
From Ttancm’s quick description:
The main design makes liberal use of alpha transparent pngs, and therefore may not display correctly on older browsers, or may be slow on even some newer browsers.
The main theme only displays properly in Firefox 2.+, IE7+ and Opera 9.+.There are alternative stylesheets setup for IE6 and older, which SHOULD load automatically if you are viewing the site using one of those browsers. The alternative stylesheets do not use the transparent pngs, but instead use gifs and solid colors, and are much blander than the main stylesheets.
If you are using IE6 (or some other browser) and the site currently looks like crap, my best suggestion is to either upgrade to IE7 (it’s much, much nicer overall anyway) or switch to another browser (Firefox or Opera).

Advertisements
This site is supported by advertisements like the Google ad below (when it shows up) and links to items on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.jp.
I know some people don’t like them, but the fact is hosting costs money, so sorry if you can’t bear it but they are a necessary evil. The site was designed to try and blend the advertisements in and make them as unobtrusive as possible.
If you really have a problem with them, just try to ignore them, otherwise just bear in mind they are there to help support the site if you see something that catches your interest.
Just so no one thinks anyone is getting rich off the site, the grand total for all the ads on this site over the past 6 months is US$15.00 which is less than 1/10 of the hosting costs for year.

How to Order From Amazon.co.jp
The items linked on this site are from Amazon.co.jp, because for the most part they aren’t sold outside of Japan and Amazon.co.jp is by far the cheapest option amongst the various importers.
Amazon.co.jp will ship items outside of Japan, and you can display the pages in English. There is obviously a shipping and handling charge for shipping outside of Japan, but it is still generally much cheaper than buying from any other importers.
In addition, if you buy anything using any of the links from this site, you are supporting the site because I receive a very tiny portion of the sales which will in turn go to pay for the server fees.
Don’t worry I’m not getting rich, I would need for people to buy more than $4000 in merchandise just to cover server and domain costs for a year, so I’d be lucky to break even.

It’s a pretty simple process overall, but if you get stuck, or need further explanation let me know and I will explain in a bit more detail.
Updates
The site will generally update with a new girl/gallery once a week on Friday. New posts will generally be scheduled in advance, but it is possible that an update or two will be missed here and there. It is also possible that there will be extra updates occasionally, if I have time or the mood otherwise strikes me.
Random Images
The random images in the sidebar on the left are randomly pulled from all of the galleries on the site.
As I mentioned above, posts are (usually) made in advance and scheduled to show up later, so occasionally the random image might be from a gallery which has been made public yet and therefore will not be linked to a page yet.
When this happens just consider it a small “coming soon” preview. =)

Ratings
The ratings (”Rate this Girl!”) for each of the girls will be used to determine the most popular girls, and occasionally extra, additional galleries will be posted for the most popular girls and the information might also be used to determine advertising prices. So, if you like a girl and would like to see more images, make sure to rate her highly.
